cyclists race back home

the weekend drivers

receive a discounted car


if they are on an early route

to their Sunday lunches.

the poet has to follow

domestic rules to dispose

household waste

to dedicated bins

seeking shelter at the bus stop

near the village church.

some kids explore free books

at the book-kiosk

set up by lions international

caring about education.

mr t. phoned ahead to see

if i’ll be of assistance and

wheel him to the café

to meet his client interested

in the art of his late dad.
