It’s the same old story
With the same old words
Between a spouse and her
Husband
Whenever he forgot
To don his poet’s hat
Or had set aside his
Artist’s cap.
He won’t bend entirely
To her rules
Or her whimsy projections
She uses as a hanger
At the end of her monologues
She has perfected
While she expects no answers
And no comments from him
As she does it so better for him!
He leaves to have some
Peace of mind
And finally she admits to need
The same.
Peace of mind.
